The human body burns fat evenly and it does not spot burn. You can choose to develop muscles on certain locations of the body such as the abdominal area and you can tell a difference after a few weeks depending on the intensity of your workouts.

Seeing reduced belly fat also depends on where you hold fat; which for most men is in the abdominal region and for women is in their legs. For the rare occasion that this is not the case, then employ a general cardio routine which will allow you to see the results you want.

Other options to lose belly fat in an effective and long lasting way, include:

4. Bike Training. Riding bikes across planes or hills always engages the quads glutes which are the largest muscle group in the body. This allows you to develop larger muscles which burn more fat as a result. Your body will burn fat evenly across the body and you can notice a significant change in the body after just a few weeks.

5. Running. Running is a classic form of cardio which most people from any background can do. Moving only your body to move yourself across distances is something that many people recommend for relaxation and it is also effective when losing belly fat.

As a beginner it is always a good idea to focus on achieving your rythme and creating a healthy habit of always doing an activity however light it may be. Once you achieve this habit you can turn up the intensity which will allow you to see results.

Just like anything, first you crawl, then walk then you run. It is a marathon not a sprint.
